Meet the LungCAN Advocate Media Training Team
Kimberly Lester is a lung cancer advocate, just like her mom, Dusty Donaldson. She has been involved in nearly every lung cancer project as her mother since 2005, when Dusty was diagnosed. She uses her many skills, whether writing, graphic design, or other talents to help advocate for lung cancer awareness in any way she can. She lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, with her two precious kittens, Scoop and Lily. Kimberly, along with Lynn, is helping to manage some of the administrative elements of this course, so you’ll likely be communicating with her from time to time.
The loss of her brother-in-law to lung cancer is what drew Lynn Abbott-McCloud to LiveLung. Since helping launch and lead LiveLung’s Charlotte program four years ago, Lynn has become an avid advocate for lung cancer awareness, early screening, and research funding. A native Hoosier, Lynn has lived in Charlotte for nearly 15 years with her partner, daughter, and their three dogs and two cats. Lynn will be assisting with a variety of aspects throughout the program. Don’t be shy if you have a question or need assistance. Lynn is always eager to help!
